POWERFUL CNC MACHINING
The STEPCRAFT Q-Series can be used in a wide variety of areas: from woodworking in carpentry to metal construction and advertising technology.
The STEPCRAFT Q.408 can easily process panel materials up to a length of 97 inches and a width of up to 51 inches. Powerful closed-loop NEMA 34 stepper motors on all axes ensure the powerful and super-fast drive. The CNC gantry is accelerated by two electronically synchronized stepper motors to ensure maximum travel safety and speed.
CNC: PRECISION AND RELIABILITY
The Q-Series ensures optimal precision and reliability in the production and machining of high-quality workpieces. For this purpose, the machine frame was evenly reinforced and steel components were used in structurally highly stressed areas. With HIWIN® ball screws on all axes, optimal efficiency is achieved. This is reflected in a repeatability of +/- .0004" with backlash of <.001".
Solid Frame
- 10 cross beams, 12 gusset plates and 6 integrated machine legs together with the two solid Y-axis traverses form a torsion-resistant machine base
- Creation of an optimal support surface for the machine table, which, when fully screwed, contributes to additional reinforcement of the frame

- Individual aluminum support axles with optimized torsional and bending rigidity as well as improved internal damping
- 20 mm wide high-precision ball rail guide on all axes
- Portal side parts made of 20 mm thick aluminum sheet
